FAQs

Klacik Real Estate

  • Where is Klacik Real Estate located, and what areas do you serve?

Our office is located at 87 W McKinley Way, Poland, OH 44514, and we proudly serve the Mahoning Valley. As a trusted local realtor, Klacik Real Estate works closely with clients to navigate the housing market efficiently, offering personalized guidance for buying or selling homes in the region.
  • What is the NAR settlement?

NAR stands for the National Association of Realtors. The NAR settlement addresses concerns that homebuyers and sellers had regarding fees paid to real estate agents. Previously, sellers were required to offer commissions to the buyer's agent through the Multiple Listing Service (MLS), even if the agent didn’t directly work with them. Lawsuits prompted the settlement, and now clients and licensed realtors negotiate commission fees directly, giving homeowners and buyers more control.
  • When did the NAR settlement go into effect?

The settlement took effect in Ohio on August 17, 2024. Since then, all licensed realtors in Ohio must abide by these rules. At Klacik Real Estate, we ensure our clients are informed about these changes and work with experienced real estate agents to provide clear, transparent guidance throughout the buying or selling process.
